The Acer Palmatum 'Bloodgood' is a popular Japanese maple cultivar known for its deep burgundy-red foliage and elegant structure. Native to Japan, it grows 15–20 feet tall with a rounded crown and finely lobed leaves that retain their rich color through summer, turning bright crimson in autumn. In spring, small red flowers appear, followed by winged seeds.
